Final 2dFLenS redshift catalogue

The link below is the final catalogue of 70,079 good-quality spectroscopic redshifts obtained by 2dFLenS. The catalogue lists the galaxy (R.A., Dec.), the redshift, the quality flag (3=probably-correct redshift, 4=secure redshift confirmed by multiple spectral features, 6=non-extragalactic spectrum), the target type (according to the key at the top of the file), the (u,g,r,i,z) VST-ATLAS magnitudes, and the W1 WISE magnitude. Please reference the 2dFLenS survey paper (Blake et al. 2016, MNRAS, 462, 4240), where further details are given, if using this catalogue.

LRG data and random catalogues

In the 2dFLenS survey paper we construct the selection function of the LRG samples observed in the KIDS-S and KiDS-N regions of 2dFLenS. We divide the dataset into two redshift ranges, 0.15 < z < 0.43 (2dFLOZ) and 0.43 < z < 0.7 (2dFHIZ), mirroring the BOSS LOWZ and CMASS LRG samples. We also build HOD mocks.

The following are links to the data/mock and corresponding random catalogues for each region and redshift interval. The files contain R.A., Dec., redshift values, (x,y,z) spatial co-ordinates relative to the origin assuming an Ωm = 0.3 cosmology, FKP weight, jack-knife region, target type (1=LOWZ, 2=CMASS, 3=eBOSS) and AAT tile ID (for the data only).
